Dragonfly Lodge is the perfect location for a meca of footpaths to explore the Wey & Arun Canal, Sussex border paths, The downs link and the Southdowns Way. Footpaths run straight through the driveway to the lodge and in either direction a short walk away there are very decent country pubs (all dog friendly). Left to Loxwood along the Canal (15-20 minutes walk) is the recently renovated ‘The Onslow Arms‘ with beautiful canal side garden, new smokehouse, play area and pigmy goats. To the right and across the fields and neighbouring farm is ‘The Sir Roger Tichbourne‘ pub and restaurant, Alfold Bars, which serves delicious food and has stunning countryside views and delightful pub garden.
